FIRST CLASS TRAINING AND development

One of our key focuses is to ensure that all of our salespeople are trained to an extremely high standard to ensure the service they provide is of top quality. The first stage of this is to provide an online foundation training in four key areas to all new recruits to ensure they get off to the best start possible. We have entered into a training partnership with Red Scout to provide the initial training.

Red Scout Partnership

Red Scout are online education specialists that have a specific focus on the beauty retail industry. They provide engaging learning programs to front line staff in the areas of Fragrance, Skincare, Makeup and Customer Sales and Service.

Red Scout work with international industry specialists to develop the content specifically for beauty advisors, with the main objectives of elevating sales teams’ confidence, and increasing sales potential. Red Scout has worked with the largest retailers internationally to train their beauty advisor teams.

Upon joining The Retail Academy our consultants will have access to the interactive online training modules relevant to the brands they work on with the option to carry out further courses for their own personal development. Each learning module takes approximately 20 minutes to complete, and has a short 10 question quiz at the end. A certificate is awarded to all those who complete the course and quiz successfully.

All of our consultants complete this introductory training before starting on the shop floor and beginning more brand specific training on our state of the art training platform available through their smartphone or tablet.

Upon completion of the introductory Red Scout training our consultants will gain access to a wide range of top quality brand specific training material. Through working closely with the brands we represent, we are able to put together clear and concise training modules for our consultants to work through and complete. Once the training module and assessment has been completed for a particular brand it proves the consultant has the necessary knowledge to work on that brand and opens up shifts on these brands for the consultant to work on.

With regularly updated content and training modules, we provide our consultants with plenty of development opportunities and new product information to ensure that they can give the best possible service to the customers on the shop floor.
